Description

The tour starts near Largo de São Domingos in Porto’s historic center, following the Douro River through Ribeira on mostly flat and easy paths. You will visit Cantareira, a traditional fishermen’s quarter, for a coffee and a classic Portuguese pastry such as Pastel de Nata.

Next, cycle toward the ocean with a stop at Pérgola da Foz, a well-known seaside landmark, before continuing briefly along the Atlantic coast. The route then takes you through the green, tranquil paths of Parque da Cidade do Porto.

In Boavista, a stop at a traditional tavern allows you to sample a Portuguese sandwich paired with regional wine or a soft drink. The return to the city center includes a break at Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, offering panoramic views of the Douro River.

The tour concludes in a local restaurant where you will enjoy a tasting board with regional cheeses, cured meats, olives, olive oil, and bread, alongside wines or soft drinks.
