Description
Discover a creative and relaxing way to experience Porto by painting your own watercolor postcard inspired by the city. This beginner-friendly workshop takes place at Porto Alchemy, a locally owned creative studio dedicated to sharing Portuguese culture through hands-on artistic experiences.
After arriving at the studio, you will be welcomed by the team and introduced to the activity in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You will then choose one exclusive Porto Alchemy postcard design inspired by local symbols such as the Luís I Bridge, Ribeira, traditional Portuguese tiles, trams, Port wine, and other details connected to the city.
Before you begin painting, your instructor will give a short introduction to simple watercolor techniques. You will learn how to use water, blend colors, create soft effects, add small details, and personalize your postcard. No previous painting experience is required, and the activity is designed to be accessible, enjoyable, and easy to follow.
During the workshop, you will paint your postcard step by step with guidance from the instructor whenever needed. You can follow the suggested colors or create your own interpretation of Porto using your personal style. The experience is relaxed and creative, making it suitable for beginners, couples, families, solo travelers, and small groups.
At the end of the activity, you can add your signature or a short personal message to your postcard. You will take home your finished handmade piece as a unique souvenir from Porto, created by you during your visit.
A small glass of Port wine is included for guests of legal drinking age. A non-alcoholic beverage option is also available.
