Next, hop on bus 500, which becomes part of the tour itself. Rather than simply moving from one place to another, this transfer marks a visible change in Porto’s character, taking you from the busy city center toward the river mouth and the Atlantic edge. In Cantareira, enter the old fishermen quarter and feel the atmosphere shift. Here, Porto feels more intimate, more maritime, and more directly connected to working life by the water.
