Description

Meet your guide at São Bento Station in Porto and learn about the history of Roman Portugal. Then, head to the Citânia de Sanfins, one of the largest archaeological complexes in northern Portugal. See ancient cobbled roads, the remains of houses, and fortifications. Next, stop in the Vinho Verde region for a walk through the vineyards. Sample 3-4 local wines and enjoy light snacks with cheese and olives. Continue to the Termas de Caldelas. Choose to swim in the thermal pools or relax in the spa (entry not included). Finally, head to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the river valley for a small picnic with local sweets and coffee.
