The first stretch follows the N323, a road lined with astonishing viewpoints where the river winds far below and vineyards climb the hills in graceful terraces. From our booking options, if you select the 2 WINERIES OPTION, the first stop is in a small, family-run winery — a hidden gem where the winemaker himself shares his craft. You’ll taste elegant Douro reds and whites, rich local olive oil, and other artisanal delicacies, each bite and sip steeped in tradition. From there, we descend to Pinhão, the valley’s most picturesque village — a place so enchanting it feels like a living fairy tale. Here, you’ll board a one-hour boat tour along the Douro River, gliding past landscapes you can only witness from the water.
