This full-day tour explores the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world's first demarcated wine region, ideal for travelers seeking authenticity and tranquility.
The journey begins in Porto, driving along the N323 road with stops at panoramic viewpoints overlooking terraced vineyards and the winding Douro River.
With the 2 Wineries option, your first visit is to a small family-run winery where the winemaker offers tastings of Douro reds, whites, local olive oil, and artisanal products. If you choose the 1 Winery option, the boat cruise at Pinhão is your first stop.
In Pinhão, board a one-hour boat cruise on the Douro River, enjoying quiet views accessible only from the water.
You then travel along the N222, considered one of the world's most scenic roads, through vineyards and rolling slopes.
The tour continues at a second boutique winery, a serene family estate where you enjoy a home-style Douro lunch paired with estate wines. After lunch, explore the vineyards and cellars, learning about winemaking traditions handed down through generations.
The tour returns to Porto by approximately 6:00 PM.
