AlmaDouro is a local family-owned business dedicated to offering a personal and authentic river experience. This small-group cruise departs from Douro Marina near the fishing village of Afurada, welcoming up to seven guests on a classic, cozy boat.

The two-hour cruise combines relaxed sightseeing with an informal tasting of four carefully selected Port wines from small producers, chosen in collaboration with Blend.pt. Each wine is accompanied by a small pairing, such as cheese, chocolate, or a sweet note, designed to complement the flavors without serving a full meal.

As you glide along the Douro River, you’ll pass under Porto’s six iconic bridges and enjoy unobstructed views of the historic waterfronts of Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia. The atmosphere is calm and unhurried, with no microphones or tourist shows, just time to appreciate the city from the water with comfortable amenities including background music, Wi-Fi, restroom facilities, and cozy blankets on cooler days.
