Experience the idyllic landscapes of Porto on this guided tour of the city’s wine and gastronomic treasures. On this 6-hour excursion you’ll travel by bicycle along the Douro River with your guide. Leaving the city center, discover the world of port wine and learn about its legacy as you visit iconic sites such as the Majestic Café, the Wine Institute of Douro and Porto, the wine cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, and the Port Wine Museum. After the city tour, you’ll enjoy lunch or dinner (depending on the time the tour is booked), either alone or with your local tour guide. Experience the local Mediterranean cuisine, as well as the local port wine. During the bike tour, you’ll also admire the decorative blue-tiled walls of the São Bento Railway Station and see the old British Trading Post, which acted as the customs house in the 18th century.
