The partnership between these two venues of excellence (Casa São Roque Art Center and Trindade Experience Porto) is an invitation to all those who wish to explore different facets of Porto's culture, from contemporary art to religious and historical heritage. The joint ticket facilitates access to both spaces, allowing visitors to enjoy a complete and integrated experience, without missing the opportunity to admire the beauty and history of each of the sites Casa São Roque, an art center located in the eastern part of the city, dates back to 1759 when, as part of Quinta da Lameira, it functioned as a mansion and hunting lodge, as was typical of Porto's bourgeoisie and noble families. The house had a major architectural intervention by the Porto architect José Marques da Silva and is distinguished by the beauty and refinement of the materials and decorative arts of the time. Today, it is an Art Center with a varied program that includes contemporary art exhibitions and its historic building provides a unique setting in which to appreciate the creations of national and international artists. Casa São Roque is thus a meeting point between the past and the present, where contemporary art blends with history. Experience Trindade - Porto officially opened its doors in June 2023 and showcases the heritage of the Celestial Third Order of the Most Holy Trinity, founded in 1755, but with a history dating back to the 11th century. It offers 3 different and original tours that immerse us in an ancient and universal main narrative, the redemption of captives at the time of the Crusades, to which is added the local role of the Order adapted to the specific needs of each era, fulfilling a mission of rescue, solidarity and religion, while at the same time participating in the construction of Porto's identity.
