Description
Casa São Roque showcases temporary exhibitions by contemporary artists and offers a combination of art, architecture, and history. The building, redesigned between 1900 and 1911 by architect José Marques da Silva, features distinctive architectural details and a notable winter garden.
Located within the 4-hectare São Roque Park, the site was shaped by Porto's historic gardener Jacinto de Matos. The park still preserves important elements from its original design, including over 200 camellias, a grotto, gazebo, and arbor.
