Porto Surf School at Matosinhos Beach
This beginner-friendly surf lesson takes place at Matosinhos Beach near Porto, suitable for all skill levels wanting to learn surfing.
Description
The surf school is located below the Matosinhos beach promenade, 200 meters north of the Anêmona Roundabout. Visitors can reach the location by car, metro, or bus. The facility includes storage, changing rooms, and bathroom access.
The class lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. It covers putting on and removing the surfing suit, theoretical safety and technique briefings, and practical surfing in the water. An instructor stays with participants throughout to ensure safety and provide guidance.

Important Information
- Sessions depend on weather and sea conditions
- Group classes run daily at 11:30 AM and 5:00 PM in summer, and 4:00 PM in winter
