Visit the Port Wine Cellars of Real Companhia Velha, a company with over 200 years of history located in Vila Nova de Gaia on the left bank of the River Douro, opposite Porto. The cellars are characterized by deep silence and darkness, creating the ideal environment for aging port wine.
During the tour, meet your guide and learn about the company’s heritage and the detailed wine production process. Observe the aging wine stored in wooden casks, vats, and barrels, and understand the maturation time required for each wine to develop its complexity.
