Tour Route
Part 1: The tour begins at Porto’s town hall near the Almeida-Garrett monument, providing introductory information about the city and country. It continues through winding streets past Livraria Lello bookstore, the university area, and Fonte dos Leões park, ending at a viewpoint overlooking Baixa and Vila Nova de Gaia. Along the way, you’ll receive recommendations for reasonably priced local restaurants, bars, and cafés, plus anecdotes about the districts.
Part 2: The group descends into the Baixa district and continues toward the Douro River. Moving away from busy tourist streets, you discover quieter corners and hidden places.
