Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia. A local guide will accompany you throughout the day, sharing insights into the culture and life of the Douro region.

The tour continues along scenic roads to Casal dos Loivos, a village known for its olive oil tradition and panoramic views. Here, you will sample locally produced olive oils, wines, almonds, and honey while enjoying views of the valley.

Next, board a traditional Rabelo boat for a scenic cruise down the Douro River, passing the region’s famous terraced vineyards. Upon request, a private 1- or 2-hour cruise with snacks and wine is available for a more exclusive experience.

After the boat ride, visit a large wine producer to learn about modern wine-making techniques and enjoy lunch at the estate. Meals feature local ingredients paired with premium wines in a private setting overlooking the valley.

The afternoon visit includes a small family estate where the producer personally welcomes you for an authentic tasting of wines, olive oils, and regional products that reflect the Douro’s character.
