Description

1st Day 13:15 pm - Meeting at S. Bento Train Station, Our local Guide Albano Capela it will meet you and give you all the details and tickets. Train trip to Pinhão Station (the heart of Douro Valley), estimated arrival time 16:20 pm 17:00 pm - Rabelo Boat Trip (duration 1 hour), 18:00 pm – Transfer to Hotel Casa das Padeiras in Favaios. Stay on half board basis. 18:30 pm – Check In in the new Wine Village Bakery Hotel. 19:30 pm - Dinner at the Hotel (full meal) 2nd Day Breakfast service at the hotel. 10:15 am – Classic car ride through the Favaios Wine Village with a stop at the viewpoint to be dazzled by the beautiful autumn landscapes; 10:45 am - Visit to Adega Cooperativa de Favaios with Moscatel tasting, 11:30 am - Classic car tour through the vineyards to Quinta da Avessada and experience the vibrance of Fall paired with fragranced breezes of fermenting grapes. 12:00pm – Reception on the Quinta’s gardens with a welcome Moscatel seeing a scenic fall colors arround youy eyes. You are in the middle of one thousand hectares of vineyards all arround you. 12:20pm – Guided visit to the Enoteca Quinta da Avessada space, where you will learn about the entire traditional winemaking process with a taste of Port wine. A wine cellar with a hundred years of history. 1:00 pm – Traditional lunch at Quinta da Avessada, a complete meal prepared in the good old-fashioned way and always accompanied by stories, 3:00 pm – Guided Visit to the Bread and Wine Museum; 15:45H - Transfer by mini van to the city of Porto.
