Description
The tour starts with a walking exploration of the historic center. You will see the grand architecture of Avenida dos Aliados and the Clérigos Tower. Along the way, unique sites like the ornately decorated McDonald’s building are also included.
Next, visit São Bento Train Station to learn about its history and view the famous tile panels depicting Portuguese culture. A short walk then leads to the Cathedral of Sé for an external visit and city views near the Fernandina Wall.
From Batalha Square, board a comfortable bus for a panoramic tour through Boavista en route to Vila Nova de Gaia. There, visit a traditional Port wine cellar to learn about production and taste three varieties of Port wine.
