When you board at Cais da Estiva, in the heart of Porto, at 7:30 pm, you'll be greeted with a welcome drink and then kick off a charming Christmas cruise on the Douro River. On board, the fun kicks off with live music from a DJ, setting the perfect vibe to celebrate the festive season. After that, we'll serve up a delicious dinner, starting with a bunch of traditional appetizers like rissóis, croquettes, codfish cakes, and melon skewers with ham. Next up is a warm starter - creamy carrot soup with almonds and dried parsley - to get your taste buds ready for the main courses: flaked cod with broa on turnip greens and smashed potatoes, and pork loin stuffed with farinheira, served with roasted potatoes, white rice, and sautéed vegetables. Dinner wraps up with a buffet of classic Christmas desserts, like Bolo Rei, rabanadas, pudding, leite creme, chocolate mousse, and sliced fruit. Throughout the event, you'll have access to drinks like white and red wine, juices, water, and coffee. The cruise wraps up at 11:45 PM with a return to Cais da Estiva, leaving behind festive memories and shared moments at the table, all in a magical and cozy atmosphere.
